South Island Bakeries was established in 2005. We supply wholesale bakery products throughout the South Island. Our Customers include supermarkets, restaurants, catering companies, cafes, universities, schools, and hotels. We provide full service including wrapping, labelling, and distribution of our freshly baked products.
South Island Bakeries operates under the Food Act 2014 and the Food Regulations Act 2015. All areas, processing activities and product categories identified below are included in the scope of the company’s Custom Food Control Plan. The types of processing activities include: mixing, forming, filling, baking and packaging of products. HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) underpin our Food Safety Program.
